From the Elbe to the Moritzburg Baroque Palace
The trail leads you along the tunnel monument and the forest swimming pool in Oberau. Afterwards, you can stop at the Buschmühle restaurant in Niederau. Drive through the scenic Friedewald forest to get to Moritzburg. You have the possibility to visit the castles or the Käthe- Kollwitz- House.

Die Route beginnt in Kleinzadel am Elbradweg und führt nach Osten durch den Ort und immer weiter über den Wiesengrund. Man kreuzt die S 88 und fährt weiter auf dem Weg „Neumühle“, auf die Weinberge in Golk zu. Kurz vor diesen nach rechts in "Am Gosebach" einbiegen. Am Mühlweg rechts halten, um danach direkt wieder links einzubiegen und dem Nieschützbach zu folgen.
Im folgenden Naundörfel dreht die Route kurz nach links („Zum Gosetal“) und nach dem Ortsausgang wieder rechts bis nach Ockrilla. Hier die B 101 kreuzen und weiter über die „Neue Gröbener Straße“ der Beschilderung nach Oberau folgen. Der Obere Buschmühlenweg führt nahe der Mühle vorbei, für eine Stärkung hier links abbiegen. Danach links in die Forststraße und am Waldbad Oberau vorbeifahren. Dem Weg immer weiter folgen (O-Weg und X-Weg) und an der Jungfernbrücke links einbiegen (F-Weg) bis zum Parkplatz an der S 81. Die Straße queren und über den HW-Weg und Steinernen Weg bis zum Parkplatz am Schlossteich in Moritzburg fahren. Nach rechts auf die Kalkreuther Straße abbiegen und dann nach links auf die Meißener Straße in Richtung Ortszentrum fahren. Am Parkplatz an der Schlossallee erreicht man den Zielpunkt der Tour.

Approach via A4 in Dresden- Flughafen, use A14 exit Nossen-Ost or use A13 exit Radeburg. Follow the S88 from Riesa or Meißen to get to the starting point.
Parkplätze können in Kleinzadel in den umliegenden Straßen gefunden werden, bspw. gegenüber dem Gästehaus am Weinberg.
In Moritzburg sind zahlreiche Parkplätze ausgewiesen.
You can reach Kleinzadel via the bus stop "Alte Fähre" with the bus lines 407 from Nünchritz as well as Meißen and 415 from Meißen.
Attention: On Saturdays and Sundays, the buses to Kleinzadel are only on call, i.e. they must be ordered at least 60 minutes before departure by phone or online.
From the end point of the tour in Moritzburg, you can connect to the Lößnitzgrundbahn to Radebeul Ost and Radeburg. You can also use the PlusBus line 477 to Radeburg, Großenhain and Dresden, bus line 405 to Radeburg and Coswig, and line 458 to Großenhain.
In the summer season from April to October, the excursion line M (Moritzburg - Weinböhla - Meißen) runs daily, carrying a bicycle trailer for up to 16 bikes.
Between Moritzburg and Dresden, a bicycle trailer is carried hourly on line 477 during the summer season on weekends and holidays.
