The traditional and popular Moritzburg Stallion Parades at the Saxon State Stud are celebrating their 100th anniversary this year. Tens of thousands of visitors flock to Moritzburg every year to be inspired by the variety of horse breeds in the almost four-hour programme. On 7, 15 and 21 September 2024, a multifaceted show with more than 130 horses awaits both professionals and horse-loving amateurs.
The state stud's jumping stallions show off their skills on the show jumping course, while the dressage-oriented state stud stallions impress in the large quadrille with 25 riding horse stallions and in the dressage quadrille.
The heavy warmbloods will present themselves in a variety of harnesses up to the large multi-horse teams.
The free-running Haflinger stallions offer a spectacular sight.
The impressive 16-horse coach of the state stud traditionally forms the conclusion of the parades.
